About Deutsche Bank Berlin Technology Centre

Pavel Yakunin is the Principal Software Engineer and Data Architect at the Deutsche Bank Global Foreign Exchange. He began his career in physics, earning a PhD in quantum optics. Subsequently, he transitioned to software and fintech where he has mostly worked with data and statistical systems. In 2017, Pavel became the lead engineer on a project to build a divisional data platform for Deutsche Bank Foreign Exchange from scratch. As the platform grew, Pavel assumed the responsibility for the platform product direction and the data architect role.
