• Many teams in DH are working on data science topics in their own scope. Some teams wish to collaborate on the overlapping areas to leverage the learnings and reduce the time to market for their ML models. Sharing some backbone components, such as a feature store, becomes compelling if we want to create a collaborative ecosystem for data scientists in different teams. Feature Store solution acts as a central component that enables data scientists and engineers to create and serve features used in data science models. They need to fetch feature data from the store if they want to use existing features. Otherwise, they have the tooling to write new features and contribute to the central repository easily.
